Britney's comeback seems to be gathering momentum now she's filed for divorce from her husband Kevin. The star is hoping to launch an Elvis-style comeback in Las Vegas which would reportedly earn her $15 – 20 million a year. But dumping K-Fed was a crucial part of the deal, a source said: "She wanted to launch her comeback at a major hotel casino here... The deal breaker was she didn't want him (husband Kevin Federline) part of the Vegas scene." An arrangement with one of the major casinos would work out very nicely indeed for Britney; she would only need to work for a couple of hours a night and would earn a good living as well as having time to raise her two baby sons. Owner of the Palms George Maloof said: "There will always be a standing offer for her to play at the Palms, particularly in our new venue."
