Katie Holmes may have fallen out with her unofficial wedding planner, Victoria Beckham over tactless remarks she made about Katie maybe needing to lose a few more pounds before her wedding day, but she's lined up another new best pal to take Posh's place if things don’t work out. Brooke Shields and Tom's bride-to-be were spotted getting cosy at a charity event in California, despite the fact that Mr Cruise famously attacked Brooke for treating her post natal depression with medication. Tom subsequently apologised and by coincidence both women gave birth (Brooke to her second child, Katie to her first) on the same day, 18 April and at the same hospital in LA. Brooke said that the two are "absolutely friends", adding: "You never know how life is going to bring people together."
