This season is definatly turning out better than expected. I’m actually looking forward to watching the show every week, which is a far cry from last year’s mess. Anyway, let’s re-cap.
Susan still doesn’t know that Mike woke up, considering she is bathing with another man in a far away cabin. Edie takes this, and the fact that Mike has some memory loss, to her full advantage. Painting Susan as a stalker, Edie makes Mike believe that he and Susan were never an item and that she is in fact slightly crazy (as we all know there is some truth to that statement). So when Susan does find out, and flips out in all her crazy-glory, she is taken back when Mike doesn’t remember her. Even more taken back that he asks her not to return to see him.
Susan isn’t the only one anxious that Mike has woken up, Orson makes a trip to the hospital but leaves relieved when he realizes Mike lost his memory, and therefore will not remember how he got there (Orson ran him down with his car). And the drama on Wisteria Lane thickins.
While Gabby is trying to sell all of Carlos’ possessions, the divorice turns McCarthy/Mills and the police are called to their Wisteria Lane home. As it would turn out, the cop was a divorcee as well, siding with (of coarse) Carlos and throwing Gabby in lock up. Yes, Gabby behind bars. Not for too long though, Carlos bails her out and tries to rekindle the romance. Gabby strongly disagrees and the two are left to live in the same home. Can’t wait ’till next week when Carlos brings home another women!
And in some show filler (this was really just to fill up time, the story did nothing for the episode) Lynette bribes her son Parker’s baseball buddy to act like Parker really hurt him when he hit him with the ball. All this to help raise his self-esteem because he wanted to quit baseball, and that is not the example Lynette wants him to follow. As you could probably tell, nothing turned out right in Baseball-gate, Lynette ended up having to bribe the coach as well. And sadly, Parker hurt his ankle and is done for the season anyway. Watch next week when Tom decides to open up his own Pizza Parlor. Should be interesting.
