Michigan grandmother Marguerite Joseph will soon turn 105 years old, but for the past two years, she has remained 99 -- in Facebook.

Thanks to a technical glitch on the social media site which forces her to lie about her age. Marguerite's granddaughter Gail Marlow says when she tries enter her grandmother's birth year as 1908, Facebook changes it to 1928.

"I would love to see her real age on Facebook. I mean in April she's going to be 105. It's special," said Marlow, who tried to contact Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg about the problem to no avail.

Marguerite was 102 when her Facebook page was created. She uses the social networking site to stay in touch with family, spend time with granddaughter. She's legally blind and hard of hearing, so Marlow reads and responds to all of her grandma's Facebook messages.

So far, Grandma has 109 Facebook friends and 84 posted pictures.

Regardless of the glitch, Marlow says that participating in social media makes her grandmother feel young again.
