It's Over! Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson Confirm Split
"Bachelor" Ben Flajnik and his controversial fiancée Courtney Robertson have called off their nine-month romance.
The couple found love on the 16th season of the popular reality dating show, which saw him propose in front of the cameras on the season finale.
In a joint statement to In Touch, they said, "The ups and downs weighed heavily on us both and ultimately we started to grow apart because of the distance, time apart, and our need to focus on our respective careers."
The couple's breakup may come as a surprise to some, as the duo posed for lovey-dovey shots during an August trip to Baker Beach in San Francisco. Winemaker Flajnik even tweeted it would be an ideal location for their nuptials.
Just last week, Robertson, 29, tweeted a photo of them together along with the caption, "I have a new appreciation for wine. It's amazing to see all the hard work and care that goes into wine making. Very proud of @Benflajnik and the boys!"
