It's official: Sean Lowe is starring in the 17th season of "The Bachelor."

The 28-year-old Dallas businessman and entrepreneur was among the final three in Emily Maynard's season of "The Bachelorette."

While Sean may not have found love with Maynard, he'll have 25 new women to choose from on the upcoming season of ABC's hit Bachelor series!

"I'm an open-minded optimist, and I believe the process can work. If I found my wife, it would be worth it," he told People of potentially being the next "Bachelor" after Maynard's season aired.

Production is already underway for the new season, which will begin airing in January 2013.
