2012 Emmy Nominations

The nominations for the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were announced Thursday morning in Los Angeles.

American Horror Story and Mad Men, a four-time Drama Series champ, got 17 nods each.

Modern Family was the most-nominated comedy series with 14 nods.

As for snubs, American Idol dropped out of the reality race for the first time while The Voice got nominated.

The Emmy Awards will be broadcast live on ABC September 23 at 7 pm ET/4 pm PT.
