Miss Pennsylvania Sheena Monnin Claims Pageant Was Rigged, Trump to Sue

Miss Universe Organization co-owner Donald Trump says he plans to file a lawsuit against Miss Pennsylvania 2012 Sheena Monnin, who just resigned from her title claiming the contest is rigged.

Monnin called the pageant "fraudulent, lacking in morals, inconsistent, and in many ways trashy" in a note posted on her Facebook.

Monnin also alleged that she "witnessed another contestant who said she saw the list of the Top 5 BEFORE THE SHOW EVER STARTED."

"In my heart I believe in honesty, fair play, a fair opportunity, and high moral integrity, none of which in my opinion are part of this pageant system any longer," Monnin wrote.

However, Miss USA organizers say Monnin tossed in her crown because she opposed the organization's decision to allow transgender contestants. Trump called Monnin's claims "totally ridiculous" and said the pageant organization plans to sue Monnin for making the "false charge."
