Amanda Knox Makes Maxim Hot 100 List 2012

Leonardo DiCaprio's ex-girlfriend Bar Refaeli has topped Maxim's Hot 100 2012 list.

But it's not Bar about whom people are talking in the twitterverse this morning.

Amanda Knox, the Seattle student convicted and acquitted of murder in Italy, also made this year's Maxim's Hot 100 list - which generally includes only sexy celebrities and supermodels.

A caption under Knox's face in the mag read: "Foxy Knoxy's murder rap was overturned after she spent four years in a hardcore Italian prison... We're guessing she hasn't hit the Olive Garden since coming back."

Readers took to Twitter to express their outrage over the controversial decision.

Demi's Wifey wrote, "Maxim's Hot 100... You have a really distorted view of what "sexy" is."

"I get that men love college girls.. but why is Amanda Knox on Maxim's top 100 of 2012 countdown? Google her, seriously." Sarah Fonts tweeted.

Michelle Stephens posted: "Amanda Knox made Maxim's hot 100 this year? So if I'm accused of murder, will that help boost my rating among the clearly disturbed readers?"

"Please tell me this is a joke." Ryan McElroy tweeted.
