Rihanna Goes On A Date With 'Lover' Melissa Forde

Rihanna went out on a date Thursday night.. with her gal pal Melissa Forde.

"I'm on my first date in almost 2 yearz," the Barbadian singer wrote on Twitter. "#datenight my lover for the night @mforde11," she later tweeted alongside a photo of herself and Melissa.

Rihanna and Melissa were spotted holding hands as they grabbed dinner at Malibu's Giorgio Baldi before hitting up Hollywood's famed Roxbury nightclub. Rihanna continued to tweet throughout the entire night, dropping hints that her relationship with Forde is romantic.

It has long been rumored that RiRi and BFF Melissa are more than just friends. On New Year's Eve, she wrote on Twitter, "Fyi, we gotta find me somebody to kiss @ midnight by next NYE!!!! Melissa didn't cut it for me lastnt."

Melissa apparently has a tattoo matching Rihanna's, that reads, "never a failure, always a lesson" on her inner arm.
