Bachelor Ben Flajnik Spoilers: Episode-by-Episode Breakdown, Contestant-Producer Scandal

Sonoma, California winemaker Ben Flajnik began his journey for love on the season premiere of "The Bachelor" on Monday.

The romance reality series brought intense drama, catfights and tears, as 25 women duke it out to win Bachelor Ben's heart.

The juiciest action of the night was the grand Monica-Jenna showdown. Jenna, a blogger who now resides in NYC, had a mental breakdown for no apparent reason. Jenna had a temper tantrum and ended up locking herself in the bathroom. Monica, meanwhile, started hitting on fellow female contestant Blakeley, stroking her hair and cuddling with her on the couch.

Ben finally narrows his pool of 25 women down to 18 by the end of the night - Lindzi, Jamie, Rachel, Blakely, Emily, Kacie B., Casey S., Britney, Erika, Shawn, Nicki, Jennifer, Elyse, Samantha, Courtney, Jaclyn -- and yes, both Monica and Jenna got roses.

Episode 2: Sonoma, CA (18 to 16)

1-on-1: Kacie Boguskie.

Group Date: 12 of the women audition for a play put on by children.

1-on-1: Courtney Robertson. They go on a picnic, Ben's dog Scotch makes an appearance, and Ben develops a boner for Courtney that lasts all season.

Rose Ceremony Eliminations: Jenna Burke and Shawn Reynolds.

Episode 3: San Francisco, CA (16 to 13)

While in San Fransisco before any of the dates start, Ben meets up with his sister Julia at the Grove on Chestnut street and they ride around on a vespa.

1-on-1: Emily O'Brien, Lindzi Cox.

Group Date: Closed down one of the streets in San Francisco, brought in fake snow and 11 of the girls went skiing.

After the group skiing date, they all got dressed and had an after party at the Tonga Room. It was during this time that Brittney, the woman whose grandmother introduced her, voluntarily leaves the show.

Scandal - A contestant had an affair with a producer of the show!

-It was also established in San Francisco that contestant Samantha Leavy had fallen for producer Bennett Graebner. Nothing physical ever happened between the two, but Samantha told producers she didn't want to be there anymore because she had feelings for someone else.

-At the cocktail party before the rose ceremony at the Farimont hotel is where Shawntel Newton, the mortician from Brad Womack's season, shows up. She tells him she thinks there could be something between them, they live close to each other, and she'd like the chance to date him. Ben does not give her a rose at the rose ceremony and she's sent home.

- Erika Uhlig faints during the rose ceremony while Ben is passing out the roses.

Rose Ceremony Eliminations: Erika Uhlig and Jaclyn Swartz. Brittney has already eliminated herself during the after party of the group date.

Episode 4: (In Utah, 13 down to 11 or 10)

1-on-1: Jennifer.

Rose Ceremony Eliminations: Monica Spannbauer and Samantha Leavy

Episode 5: (In Puerto Rico)

1-on-1: Nicki Sterling.

This is the episode where Ben and Courtney go skinny dipping and show their bare asses to all of America.

Rose Ceremony Eliminations: Jamie Otis and Jennifer.

Episode 6: (In Panama, 8 down to 6)

1-on-1: Kacie Boguskie.

Rose Ceremony Eliminations: Blakeley Shea and possibly Casey Shteamer.

Episode 7: (In Belize, 6 down to 4)

The six girls who made it to Belize were Emily, Courtney, Lindzi, Kacie, Rachel, and Nicki.

Episode 8: Hometowns (4 down to 3)
