Well, they were right.

Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kris Humphries after just 72 days of marriage.

The 31-year-old reality star also confirmed the news to Ryan Seacrest. "Yes @kimkardashian is filing for divorce this morning," Seacrest tweeted. "I touched base with her, getting a statement in just a few minutes."

Kim is seeking the divorce from NBA star Kris, 26, on the grounds of 'irreconcilable differences', court documents show.

So what went wrong?

The newylweds are "not getting along at all," one insider said. "Kris is not drinking the Kardashian Kool-Aid, and it's causing major problems."

Kris, currently unemployed due to the NBA lockout, has been spotted partying in both Miami and New York without Kim, getting flirty with multiple women and 'acting like a single man,' reported Star magazine earlier this month.

Days before Kardashian's 31st birthday, the newlyweds "had it out!" says a family friend. "She told him he needs to do something productive. The work ethic in that family really means something. He needs to get off his ass, like, yesterday."

This will mark the second failed marriage for Kim, she eloped to Las Vegas with music producer Damon Thomas - 10 years her senior - when she was just 19, but divorced in 2004 after four years together.
