Season 9 of "Project Runway" came to a close Thursday night as the four finalists presented their final collections during New York Fashion Week.

So who was declared this season's winner?

In the final challenge to win a $100,000 and receive the title as "Project Runway" season 9 winner, Anya Ayoung-Chee came out victorious.

The West Indies designer impressed judges Michael Kors, Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia and L'Wren Scott with her flowing, tropical dresses with plunging necklines and bold prints.

"What an absolute dream come true! This is an absolute turning point in my life and I'll never, ever be able to forget it," the 29-year-old former beauty queen said after her win.

The four finalists, Kimberly Goldson, Viktor Luna, Joshua McKinley and Anya Ayoung-Chee sent a 10-piece collection down the runway at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Viktor sent down printed structured dresses in a flirty, rock 'n' roll print but his see-through gowns didn't look very edgy. Kimberly designed easy street wear in fuchsias and royal blues while McKinley went over the top with his loud prints.
