Gary Collins and Wife Mary Ann Mobley Separate After 43 Years of Marriage

Gary Collins and his wife of 43 years, Mary Ann Mobley have separated, reports TMZ.

Mary Ann filed for legal separation on Monday. "She miserable about the whole situation," her rep tells TMZ.

Mary Ann, a former Miss America, is undergoing chemotherapy and radiation as she deals with stage 3 breast cancer.

The rep adds that Gary is depressed about her illness and they both felt they needed a break.

Mary Ann is Gary's second wife. They have been married since 1967 and have a daughter, Mary Clancy Collins, who is the Senior Vice President of Development for MGM Television. Gary has two other children (Guy William Collins and Melissa "Mimi" Collins). from his first marriage to Susan Peterson.
