Miss Angola Leila Lopes

Miss Angola Leila Lopes was crowned the winner of Miss Universe 2011 Monday night in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The 25-year-old beauty queen beat out 88 contestants to became the the first woman from Angola and only the fourth black woman to be crowned Miss Universe.

"Thank God I'm very satisfied with the way God created me and I wouldn't change a thing," Lopes said, when asked what part of her body she'd change. "I consider myself a woman endowed with inner beauty. I have acquired many wonderful principles from my family and I intend to follow these for the rest of my life."

Lopes is studying business management in Great Britain.

Last year's winner Mexico's Ximena Navarrete relinquished her crown to Lopes. First runner-up was Olesia Stefanko of Ukraine and second runner-up was Priscila Machado of Brazil, followed by Miss Philippines and Miss China. Miss USA Alyssa Campanella, a 21-year-old former model in Las Vegas, didn't make it into the Top Ten.
