Hailey Clauson: Teen Model Sues Over Racy Photos

Teen model Hailey Clauson posed for a provocative photoshoot last year when she was just 15 years old.

The racy photos eventually ended up splashed across T-shirts and in fashion magazines. Now, her parents are suing the photographer and three retail outlets for using the images without their permission.

Filed in New York on Thursday, the $28 million lawsuit alleges, "She is posed in a blatantly salacious manner with her legs spread, without a bra, revealing portions of her breasts."

The lawsuit contends that "her crotch area [is] the focal point of the image" adding that the shot is of interest to "the likes of pedophiles."

The lawsuit has been filed against photographer Jason Lee Parry, two boutique stores: Blood Is The New Black, Brandy & Melville and the Philadelphia-based national retail chain Urban Outfitters Inc.

Meanwhile, photog Parry defended the racy photos, telling Good Morning America this morning,

She's a professional model. She posed herself... I look at it and I think, 'This is a really cool shot.' The real question here is, 'Is she showing any private parts?' If that was the case, I completely understand [the concern].

Parry said Hailey Clauson's parents approved the shoot and gave him permission to release the photos. He claimed Hailey's father saw at least some of the photos after the shoot.

Hailey, now 16, has worked in New York and Paris for designers including Gucci, Donna Karan and Oscar de la Renta.
