Ames Brown and Jackie Gordon: Split Already!
Ames Brown and Jackie Gordon are no longer together!
Ames chose love over money on season 2 of the Bachelor Pad, and walked away from the show to pursue his relationship with Jackie.
They seemed to be smitten with each other, but the pair lasted a only couple of weeks after the cameras stopped rolling.
"We are not still dating, but we enjoyed every moment we had together," portfolio manager Ames, 31, said. "After a little while, we split up. Nothing too exotic about it."
"We just maybe weren't the ideal match," he added.
Jackie called Brown a "wonderful person" who "made me feel very comfortable," but suggested that the breakup wasn't mutual.
"I was shocked that it ended as it did. I thought it was potential forever," the 27-year-old artist/assistant teacher said. "It came out of nowhere. As far as I knew, things were great. I thought it lasted much longer than it did. I guess you didn't. It takes two."
