Beauty Queen Lorena Tavera Busted For Shoplifting
Beauty queen Lorena Tavera posed for a different kind of photo - a mug shot - after getting busted for shoplifting a $69 shirt from a Texas mall on Friday.
Miss El Paso USA 2008 Lorena Tavera was arrested outside a Dillard's department store after she allegedly hid a shirt in a shopping bag and walked out without paying for it.
She was booked into the El Paso County Jail early Saturday and released Saturday afternoon after posting $300 bond.
The 21-year-old also has two outstanding traffic warrants.
Tavera runs a modeling agency in El Paso called Laura's Productions.
