Thylane Loubry Blondeau French Vogue Photos Stir Controversy

In the new issue of French Vogue, model Thylane Loubry Blondeau poses sultrily, wearing makeup, stilettos and haute couture.

The only problem is, Thylane Loubry Blondeau is just 10-years-old.

French Vogue's feature pictorial titled "What makeup at what age?" shows the young girl in a low-cut, gold gown and gold stilettos as she reclines on a bed. In another shot, Thylane is lying on a tiger skin rug wearing a red dress and high heels.

Thylane has stunning good looks and has been modelling since she was four. But her latest photospread has raised debate over the sexualization of young girls.

"I think that I'm seeing a very young girl being sexualized, being gazed at in a very adult way," Koa Beck of Mommyish.com told Good Morning America Thursday.

"This isn't edgy. It's inappropriate, and creepy, and I never want to see a nine-year-old girl in high-heeled leopard print bedroom slippers ever again," wrote Chloe Angyal, editor of Feminsting.com.

Radaronline.com points out that Thylane's personal website features a gallery of similar images.

In one image, Thylane is sitting on a bed topless with a boy looking toward her. The caption reads, "SHE'S NOT WEARING A TOP BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T THINK IT WOULD OFFEND ANYONE shoot me."
