2011 MTV VMA Nominees

The 2011 MTV VMA nominees were announced late Wednesday. Teenage Dream singer Katy Perry scored the most nominations - nine in total - including Video of the Year and Best Female Video for Firework.

Singer Adele received seven nods, including Video of the Year and Best Female Video. Lady Gaga got a nomination for Best Female Video for Born This Way, while Britney Spears nabbed a nod for Best Pop Video for Til The World Ends.
