Paris Hilton walked out of an interview on 'Good Morning America' after being asked if her "moment had passed" with the rise of other reality personalities.

Dan Harris of ABC News had an exclusive interview with the 30-year-old socialite inside her new Los Angeles home to talk about career, love life and the downside of fame.

"The celebutante marketplace has become rather crowded since Paris Hilton burst onto the scene in the late 1990s," Harris said. "People like Hilton's former protégé and sometimes 'frenemy' Kim Kardashian have been eating up a lot of the oxygen, with hit reality shows and a mountain of magazine covers."

"Do you worry at times that the people who have followed in your footsteps, like Kim Kardashian, are overshadowing you?" Harris asked.

"No, not at all," a Hilton replied, noting that she's not discouraged by the low ratings of her new show The World According to Paris.

Harris continued: "Do you ever wonder...about your moment having passed?"

Uncomfortable with the discussion, Hilton could be seen looking off-camera at this point.

"What followed was a long and heated conversation with Hilton and her publicist," explains Harris in a voice-over.

The interview ended on friendly terms, Harris said.
