Emily Maynard Confirms Split With Brad Womack
Brad Womack and Emily Maynard are officially over!
"We're no longer engaged," Emily tells People. The single mother told the mag she decided to break her silence to to put an end to "all the media speculation" in hopes of that she and daughter Ricki, 6, "can move on and get back to normal."
"Just because we love each other doesn't mean we're right for each other," Emily said.
Last week, Emily taped an intimate interview with Bachelor host Chris Harrison, for a segment scheduled to air during the July 11 episode of ABC's The Bachelorette where she tells exactly what went wrong between her and Brad.
Womack has declined to participate in the interview with Emily, but he tells People that he's to blame for the split.
"The demise of our relationship was completely my fault," he said.
