Candy Spelling and her late hubby, Aaron Spelling's famous Los Angeles mansion, considered the most expensive home in America, has just been sold to 22-year-old Formula One heiress Petra Ecclestone.

Petra, a fashion designer, is the daughter of British billionaire Bernie Ecclestone, whose estimated net worth is $4 billion. Petra's mother, Slavica is a former Armani model.

Petra will marry entrepreneur James Stunt later this summer and plans to split her time between Los Angeles and London where she owns a $90 million six-story townhouse.

Candy Spelling put the 57,000-square-foot palatial estate on the market for $150 million in March, 2009. The sales price of the house was not disclosed but according to TMZ, Petra opened at $75 mil ... half the asking price.

The French Chateau-style home, known as "The Manor", has a bowling alley, beauty salon, a China room, a flower-cutting room, several gift-wrapping rooms and parking for 100 cars.
