Shania Twain Falls At CMT Awards VIDEO
Shania Twain took a nasty spill Wednesday night at the CMT Awards.
The country singer was on her way to the stage to present Blake Shelton with his trophy for Male Video of the Year when she slipped in her heels and and fell down.
She quickly dusted herself off and proceeded to the stage as the audience cheered her on.
After the show, Twain posted a video on her site assuring fans that she didn't hurt herself.
"I just made a complete fool of myself and experienced one of life's most embarrassing moments," Twain, 45, said. "I don't need a stunt double. I didn't hurt myself. I have a bit of a sore thumb -- that's it."
Twain also said she plans to "auction off" the heels that she was wearing when she took a fall. "I'm gonna auction off those shoes. I'm gonna get rid of them as soon as I can. I never want to see those shoes again!"
