Meredith Vieira: Last Day on 'Today' Show VIDEO

Meredith Vieira signed off as co-host of NBC's 'Today' show this morning after nearly five years.

"I know it's right, but it's hard," the 57-year-old said as she co-anchored her last broadcast with Matt Lauer.

Vieira's send-off special included tributes from NBC stars like Brian Williams and Jay Leno and highlights of her best "Today" show moments.

Vieira announced May 9 that she was leaving the morning show to spend more time with her husband, Richard Cohen, and children Ben, 22; Gabe, 19; and Lily, 18.

Vieira's husband, Richard and the family dog, Jasper, were also present at the New York City studio for the farewell episode.
