James should be very proud he ranks up there with Chris Daughtry. He will be the only one to go on and sell thousands of records. As for the rest especially Hayley who is in by book  a joke! Idol will have to choke this year down just like with Chris the best is gone and the final will be nothing more than boring and again not worth watching.    JAMES ROCK ON ! Idol is not the end.

I can't believe that on this show the good people are routinely voted off. First Pia and now James.How James Durbin could have been the one to go is totally beyond me. Haley? Sure. Lauren? Why Not. Scotty ? Okay.But James??? This is truly the last American Idol show I will ever waste my time watching.  It is a disgrace! James, don't give up - you are great!

I won't deny i have been a Scotty fan since day one....Still am and always will be.....however i would like to say that i hope the judges will sit back and not be critical of any of the final 3...Let Haley, Lauren and Scotty sing their hearts out and let America decide the next American Idol!

It's too bad when you have a singer that can sing anything and sound good and he is the one that gets kicked off. I guess I don't have to watch it anymore.  James will sell more records than all three left combined.

That's it for me and American Idol for good.Both my mother and myself have already decided that we are not watching the final because James Durbin deserved to be in that final.He has never been in the bottom two..he has been consistent throughout the competition..he always gave 200% of himself,he has exposed his emotions to the public,he has entertained and he has performed.He was the best performer on that show.You never knew what to expect from him and you always looked forward to what he was going to sing..But it will be a blessing in disguse because he will go on to sell millions and i for one am waiting for his first album because i am going to buy it.I am furious!

I'm very disappointed with tonights results!! First Pia was voted off and now James!! They're my favorites. I also can say I DID vote for them.
I thought Haley (is that her name?) would be voted off tonight because she has this HUSKEY rough voice. Does she smoke? I agree with Randy she was screaming during her performce last and she sing songs nobody knows!! I was unaware of James past so I know he has had a rough life. I'm happy that God sent him his angle! He deserves her and his son.
James will and has made them proud. We will be hearing more of James rockin and I can't wait!! I sure hope Haley gets voted iff next! Is she the older female? See the females are forgettable, I can't even remember which one is which!! But I do think the 15 year old has an awesome voice for her age and she is starting to perform well for the audience. Good Luck James!  YOU ROCK - LOVE YA >Bright side is he'll get to hold and sleep with his wife and son tonight!!!!!

WHAT IS WRONG WITH AMERICA. I MEAN COME ON JAMES MADE THE SHOW WORTH WATCHING. YEAH SCOTTY AND LAUREN ARE GOOD BUT JAMES WAS THE BEST. HALEY WHINEHART DOESNT DESERVE TO BE IN THE FINAL 3. IT SHOULDA BEEN JAMES WITH LAUREN AND SCOTTY. JAMES U WERE MY FAVORITE AND I WILL DEFINITELY BUY YOUR CD CUZ I KNOW U WILL SUCCEED AND GO FARTHER THAN THE OTHER 3. I am done with Idol. James Durbin was DEFINITELY the only Idol material. He will go on to outsell and outsing all of the three remaining 'hopefuls'. And it is probably a good thing for him to be gone from the show. He is not tied to a lengthy contract with Idol and will be picked up for a recording contract by someone. I mean when you really look at it, how many American Idols have really made it - look at Jennifer Hudson - and Pia is already reported to have a recording contract.  IT'S NOT OVER YET JAMES - KEEP ON ROCKIN.

Of the top 4 Haley should be the first to walk out next is Lauren and a toss coin between James and Scotty to be american idol 2011 winner nothing else and nothing more... america committed a big mistake when they voted out James!

Let's FOX hear our vote by not watching anymore, unless they bring him back next week. Otherwise, they can cancel the show because no one will believe them anymore. I thought we were supposed to pick the BEST performer...

Very disappointed to see James go. He gave absolute great performances. I wish Haley was the one to go. I have been waiting for her to go home since day one. If she becomes the next american idol I will be done watching American Idol. They are letting all the good talent pack their bags. Pia was the first shocker. Scotty goes without saying, that he will be the next country star. Looking forward to buying Jame's first albumn

I am shocked at America for getting this so wrong.  But I guess that's what happens when you can vote as many times as you want and it is truly not reflective of the most talented.  One person can vote a 1000 times, so it really is meaningless.  It was unbelievable that Pia got voted off, but then James (the best of them all) remained and I went on watching.  Now, there is no reason for me to watch the finale, as the contestants left can’t come anywhere near the talent of James.  His range, his ability to sing songs from any genre is amazing.  None of the remaining can do that.  Too bad American Idol instead of having to come up with AMAZING numbers of votes, followed suit from Dancing with the Stars and limit the number of votes to the number of contestants left each week… that would show a truer American Idol.  In my books James Durbin is the American Idol and like those before him, will go much further than the 3 finalists.  I think you are absolutely fabulous, James!  You’ve conquered the rest of the world, too bad America didn’t see what we did.

I live in Bolivia. First time I really looked not miss a single AI programs. From the beginning I liked Scotty and his deep voice and James for being a great rocker. But one question: the winner is only to be AI USA or to be heard and idol of the world?. country music is nice, nice to hear, but ... where else on the planet received awards?. rock is universal, people hear it everywhere. Who does not know and like some kind of rock?, my mother is 75 years old, my son 16 and I 45 and we all enjoyed watching the show was James in each presentation. I like to share with my son and his friends some of their activities and tell them that here in Camiri, James has several followers, because I know that when my son took his music on the phone to school, everyone wanted to have it.
James Force, which awaits a world ahead of you have already conquered a lot of fans.
