Scotty McCreery sang "Where Were You When the World Stopped Turning" by Alan Jackson on American Idol, May 11, 2011.

Scotty strummed away on an acoustic guitar while singing. It was a pleasant performance.

Randy: "That's a great, amazing song ... great lyrics, I think you've set your mark on this stage this season. You're ready for superstardom."

Steven: "That was beautiful. I saw you almost lose it in the middle, because of your passion of what you were saying about it."

Jennifer: "I'm in love with you, what you stand for, what you bring to your music. I can tell you know what touches other people. It's the mark of somebody who was meant to do this."
