Scotty McCreery - Gone - American Idol May 04, 2011 Video
Scotty McCreery sang Montgomery Gentry's Gone on American Idol May 04, 2011.
He threw in some crazy dance moves. It was a fun performance, but Scotty is not the kind of singer who could pull off a Montgomery song.
Steven : Up to now, you've been like a Puritan but tonight I saw you dance with the devil.
Jennifer: I lost it there for a second, I was so excited. That is some American Idol stuff right there.
Randy : I felt like we were at Concert Scotty. Who knew that you could rock the stage like that? It don't matter what age you are!

Did I read correctly that you said Scotty could not pull off "Gone"? haha. He certainly did pull off the Montgomery Gentry song with a bang and he was a natural. He just upped his game one more time. The only people who criticize Scotty are those who have an agenda (put Scotty down so their favorite can win) or who don't like country music, and it is disgusting. Scotty is genuine, humble, mature beyond his years, poised, and a great natural country singer who is ready to record, do live performance, video and interviews. He is a gift to the show. Period!
