Amy Smart Engaged to Carter Oosterhouse
Actress Amy Smart is off the market!
The Just Friends actress, 35, is engaged to HGTV carpenter, Carter Oosterhouse, 34 after dating for just five months.
Amy and Carter met at a green-charity event in November 2010. He popped the the question in LA a few days ago.
"It was a very big surprise but she is thrilled and is very excited," an insider tells UsWeekly. "He's an eco-carpenter; Amy drives a hybrid and is the greenest girl I know. They are perfect for each other."
Amy ended her 15-year-relationship with actor Branden Williams last year.
Carter gained national fame as a carpenter on the TLC series Trading Spaces and has hosted the HGTV shows Carter Can and Red Hot & Green. He has also appeared in television advertisements including men's fragrance Voyage by Nautica.
