Meet Amaya Josephine!
Law & Order: SVU star Mariska Hargitay and her husband, actor Peter Hermann, have adopted a beautiful baby girl named Amaya Josephine.
Amaya was born about a week ago in the United States.
"I'm deliriously happy," says the 47-year-old actress. "From the minute she was born, she was just surprisingly alert and so full of love."
Amaya will be joining big brother, August. Four-year-old August is over the moon; he calls her his baby because he says the whole thing was his idea, says the actress.
Congratulations to the happy family!
