Bill Maher & Cara Santa Maria Split
Bill Maher and his young girlfriend, Cara Santa Maria, have called it quits, reports InTouch.
The couple dated for two years.
"They are taking time off as a couple and have decided to spend less time together," an insider said. "Bill can never stay with one woman for more than a few years. He always gets bored and just wants to go back to playing the field."
Cara confirmed the split to In Touch, saying, "Our breakup was mutual and amicable. We continue to be friends and work together."
The host of HBO's Real Time With Bill Maher also confirmed, stating, "Breakups are always difficult, especially with an amazing person like Cara. I wish her nothing but the best, and remain committed to and excited by her career as a media science expert."
