Mike Huckabee Slams Natalie Portman's Out-of-Wedlock Pregnancy
It's safe to assume Fox News Channel host Mike Huckabee is not a big fan of Natalie Portman. During a radio show Monday, Huckabee slammed the Academy award winning actress, calling her out-of-wedlock pregnancy "troubling."
"People see a Natalie Portman who boasts, 'We're not married but we're having these children and they're doing just fine," Huckabee told radio host Michael Medved on his show. "I think it gives a distorted image. It's unfortunate that we glorify and glamorize the idea of out-of- wedlock children."
In her acceptance speech at the Oscars, Portman thanked her fiance Benjamin Millepied, saying he gave her "the most important role" in her life.
Medved quipped back that Millepied "didn't give her the most wonderful gift, which would be a wedding ring! And it just seems to me that sending that kind of message is problematic."
