Benjamin Walker To Play Abraham Lincoln in 'Vampire Hunter'

Benjamin Walker has signed on to play the title role in the highly anticipated film Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, reports Variety.com.
The 28-year-old actor beat out actors like Eric Bana, Adrien Brody, Oliver Jackson-Cohen & Josh Lucas for the role. The film will mark the first big-budget lead role for Walker, who has previously appeared in Flags of Our Fathers, All Saints Day and Coach.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is about the 16th president and his quest to rid the world of vampires. The horror-thriller, set to be shot in 3D, is scheduled for a June 22, 2012 release.
