John Edwards Engaged to Rielle Hunter
According to the National Enquirer, John Edwards is engaged to marry his long-time mistress Rielle Hunter, just three weeks after the death of his wife Elizabeth Edwards.
Edwards reportedly proposed to Hunter over Christmas vacation. The source says, Edwards introduced his three children to Hunter and their daughter Frances Quinn during a holiday get-together at a North Carolina restaurant.
The Enquirer also says Hunter asked the younger Edwards children to "call me Mommy."
It was the Enquirer that initially exposed the affair between Edwards and Hunter back in 2007. Elizabeth and John Edwards were married for 33 years. The couple formally separated after John admitted to having an affair and that he had fathered a child with videographer Rielle Hunter.
Elizabeth Edwards, passed away three weeks ago after a long battle with cancer.
UPDATE: A spokesperson for John Edwards is denying the report that the former senator recently proposed to baby mama Rielle Hunter.
