Hugh Hefner's Fiancee's $90,000 Engagement Ring (Photo)
In case you've been living under a rock, Hugh Hefner, 84, proposed to his girlfriend Crystal Harris, 24, on Christmas day.
The soon-to-be Mrs. Hefner showed off her huge engagement ring on Twitter and wrote, "For those of you who have been asking to see my ring here it is. My engagement ring from my love."
The Playboy mogul presented the 3.5 carat stunner while they were opening presents at the Mansion. The ring was in a Little Mermaid music box. Hef didn't say, "Will you marry me?" Instead, he said, "I hope it fits."
Crystal says she knew it was coming because they had discussed marriage and she even designed the ring.
The ring is a circle diamond "a little over three karats," says Harris, "and it's on platinum setting and it has diamonds all around the band as well. It's so pretty."
Estimated cost of the ring is said to be $90,000.
Crystal met Hefner on Halloween in 2008 and started dating him in January 2009. Crystal was born to British parents in Arizona. They moved back to the UK after her birth, but then came back to the States a couple of years later and settled in San Diego, California.
