Why is it that the women are never closer to his age?  Why not more women over 30 who are likely more emotionally ready to commit to a long-lasting committed relationship?  There are many beautiful, sexy and single 30-something women out there!  If Brad was truly looking for a soul-mate and ABC really wanted him to find one, I think they'd choose more age-appropriate women.

Is Emily really only 24 because she lost her (husband?) in 2003 and her daughter is like 6 yrs old now..and also didn't she say she was with him for a about 5yrs before that?

Emily is only 24 she lost her fiance due to a plane crash in 2004.  She was only 19 when this happened and within a couple days after Ricky died she found out she was pregnant with his daughter. They dated through high school.

I love Ashley the Nanny, but I feel she is too young.  There are many years ahead for that sweet girl to find a husband.  That being said, he'll probably choose her!  I, personally, like  Emily, and I agree that if Brad doesn't pick her she WILL be the next  Bachelorette.  I see some real chemistry between Brad and Both Chontal and Shawntel.  If Ashley the Nanny isn't chosen, my money is on Chontal.

Run Emily Run! At 24 the last thing she needs is a 37 year old who is trying to "get in touch with himself". With all the exposure she is getting on this show she can take her pick of more stable men. Why would she want to get saddled with a 37 year old who has to call his therapist before making a decision. Emily needs to give ABC a NEW Twist--if he chooses her SHE needs to turn HIM DOWN! Now that would be a great ending!

The show always keeps the "bad girl" around till the end, is that something they tell the bach that has to be done, it's the same thing time after time.  Yes, Michelle is who I am talking about, and if she is a hairdresser wouldn't she know that her eyebrows should match her hair color, surely they taught that to her in school, right?  Brad bugs me, he is so intense all the darn time, who would want to live with that!

Michelle is one of those catty jealous females.  All she does is badmouths all the other girls.  Brad should have gotten rid of her last night. It's hard enough trying to decide who you're going to marry let alone do it on public television.  Michelle just needs to back off and she's just a hairdresser with nothing going for her.  Ashley at least is a dentist and has worked hard to achieve it and she at least has a brain.  Does Brad really want to have kids who are stupid?  Even the funeral director has brains.  Pick someone smart for the sake of the future.  America is laging behind other countries in the sciences.

Brad if I were you I defenitly DROP michelle because, from just watching her and seeing her interveiwed behind the camera i think she is a B*tch. not to mintion everyone is their for the same reason but at least in the process their biulding relationships w/ each other. I honestly think you should drop michelle, marry  shawntel because she is sweet and has her own kind of personal beauty were any man be lucky to have her, (so u said yourself). Or pick Emily for one because she been through alot and this would be a perfect way to start a new beggining for the both of you guys. Also because emily is just sooo sweet and beautiful and both her and shawntel have very nice class just by how they present their self. Also you could just see that from shawntels shopping sprey, and how emily keeps it real and she gives her emtions to brad but also has some standards to how far she will put her self out their for any man. Brad needs to find his soul mate/wife by himself through his soul searching and his OWN TRUE FEELINGS and not contact his therapist for any more suggestion because he [Brad] himself is ultimately going to have to make up his own mind to FEEL whom he would be most COMFORTABLE with and TRUST to spend the rest of his happy life with . . . unless he believes in a "minute-rice" relationship.

To that end, from what I have so far observed on the shows that have been broadcasted on television to this date (February 18, 2011) since January 3, 2011, I feel that Brad would and can love Emily or Shawntel for the rest of his life and would enjoy a wonderful family with either one of these two young women with NATURAL qualities, brain, and beauty.

CONGRATS BRAD&EMILY HOPE U GUYS GET MARRIED SOON, even though it was a big heart break to see chantel leave, she shows that she is even more strong by reacting in a positive way about the whole thing and used what she had with brad in a possitive way for her next date, I think it was a good experience for her and makes her an even better person to thiss day so congrats to chantel on that :)))...I think this was the best bachelor Ive ever seen cant wait till summer to see next one :))
