Gretchen Jones Project Runway Season 8 Winner

Gretchen Jones, aka Mrs. Mean, was crowned the winner of "Project Runway" season 8 during the two-hour season finale of the fashion reality show last night.

The 28-year-old from Portland, OR, edged out fellow finalists Mondo Guerra and Andy South.

"I feel like why I won was because I offered the judges and 'Project Runway' a really modern designer to be representing 'Project Runway,'" Gretchen Jones said, "It's pretty surreal and wild to be a part of the family."

Gretchen won a cash prize of $100,000 in addition to an editorial feature in an upcoming issue of Marie Claire magazine, a $50,000 HP and Intel technology suite to help her run a business.
