'Hiccup Girl' Jennifer Mee Charged with Murder

Jennifer Mee, a Florida teenager who grabbed national attention as the "Hiccup Girl" in 2007, is making headlines once again, this time for being charged in the killing of a 22-year-old man.
Jennifer Mee, 19, was arrested and charged with first degree murder in St. Petersburg, Florida on Sunday. Mee and two other girls reportedly killed Shannon Griffin during a robbery.
According to cops, Mee lured the victim," to the scene and her friends, Laron Raiford and Lamont Newton "robbed him at gunpoint and took miscellaneous items from his person." The victim, Shannon A. Griffin, was shot several times after a struggle and died.
Jennifer Mee got her nickname 'Hiccup Girl,' for her prolonged case of hiccups which made her hiccup 50 times a minute for five weeks when she was 15.
Mee's mother, Rachel Robidoux, gave a tearful interview on a Tampa radio show Monday morning, describing her daughter as a "lovable, sweet little girl who wouldn't hurt a fly."
