Tennis star Maria Sharapova and her boyfriend, Los Angeles Lakers star Sasha Vujacic, are engaged to be married!
Vujacic, 26, popped the question to Sharapova, 23, with a massive engagement rock at his home in Manhattan Beach, Calif on Tuesday. The Slovenian-born basketball player told reporters before an exhibition game on October 21 that the Russian former tennis world number one had accepted his proposal.
The pair have been dating since November. According to Your Tango , "Maria confirmed the relationship in January, but both have kept it pretty quiet-his official Twitter is all about basketball, and she has a long history of not commenting on her private life. Still, we find this couple kind of cute and hilarious, mainly because of how they tower over everyone. Maria's one of the tallest women on the pro tour at 6'2", but 6'7" Sasha makes her look dainty."
