Rapper Eyedea aka Michael Larsen Found Dead
Rapper Eyedea, real name Michael Larsen, was found dead last weekend in his home in St. Paul, Minnesota. He was 28 years old.
Details about cause of death were not available. His body was discovered by his mother, Kathy Averill, on Sunday morning. "He was doing great and had a lot of things going on in his life," she said.
Eyedea recorded several albums, including last year's "By the Throat," for noted indie label Rhymesayers. He was in the midst of a tour with his his childhood friend, DJ Abilities.
