Justin Bieber is gearing up to take a stand against bullying and homophobia after he allegedly got into an altercation with a boy who called him a "fa*g*t" during a game of laser tag in Canada.

According to TMZ, Bieber, 16, and his bodyguards were playing laser tag at Planet Lazer in Richmond, British Columbia on Friday night when a 12-year-old boy began taunting him. When Bieber told the boy to back off, he lashed out and hurled anti-gay slurs at the singer.

While TMZ reports Biebs is the victim, Canadian blogger Zach Taylor, who broke the story, claims that homophobic slurs were ever murmured. Taylor told the 'Today' show on Monday that Bieber was being surrounded by a "bunch of 12-year-olds" and "like any other kid playing laser tag, he just bolted right through the pack of kids and accidentally hit one of the kids in the face area."

Biebs was kicked out of the game and the boy's father filed the complaint against the singer, saying his son was assaulted and sustained minimal injuries.

Bieber has yet to comment on the incident, but according to reports, he is planning on shooting his own anti-bullying PSA.
