John Oliver Engaged to Kate Norley (Photos)
The Daily Show correspondent John Oliver is engaged to his girlfriend of two years, Iraq War vet Kate Norley.
Oliver, 33, announced his engagement Saturday at Comedy Central's Night of Too Many Stars autism benefit. The Emmy-winning British stand-up comedian popped the question to Norley back in July during their summer getaway in the Caribbean.
The couple began dating after meeting at a 2008 Republican National Convention, which Oliver was covering.
"It's the most emasculating thing I could possibly do to go out with someone who has actually done something valuable with their life," Oliver jokingly told People of his ladylove Kate Norley.
The couple hasn't set a date for the wedding yet, but plan to tie the knot next year.
