The Situation iPhone App in Top 10!
"Jersey Shore"'s Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's newly launched iPhone app has already made it to the list of Top 10 highest grossing Apple applications.
The iPhone app, available for $4.99, soared to the top 10 money-making entertainment apps since its release last Thursday, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
The application, aptly titled "The Situation" allows his fans to stay connected with his GTL (Gym, Tan, Laundry) lifestyle and features a "GTL Finder" for locating GTL facilities, a video game called "Grenade Dodger," and an ab routine workout.
The features are directly inspired by phrases and experiences made famous by The Situation and the cast of MTV's "Jersey Shore." Users can also email the "Dancing with the Stars" contestant directly via the app.
"It's done extremely well, and we believe it will continue to do so," a rep for Apple said.
No wonder The Situation is set to make $5 million this year.
