Lisa Pavin Avid Golfer Cover Photo Controversy

Lisa Pavin, wife of American Ryder Cup captain Corey Pavin, strikes a pose on the cover of September issue of Avid Golfer. The headline accompanying the photo says, "Aye Aye, Captainess."
The cover photo shows Lisa Pavin, 36, wearing only a red, white and blue sheet and has had the blogosphere buzzing this morning with some describing the shot as "fairly revealing" and "scantily clad."
Corey Pavin, 50, acknowledges that his wife's garnered a lot of attention but defends the photo, saying, "It's much ado about nothing. A lot's been said about that photograph, but to me, I thought it was done in great taste. I thought it was a beautiful picture and she's a beautiful woman and I'm lucky to have her as my wife."
"Everything's been blown way out of proportion," Lisa added, calling the cover shot just "about me being patriotic."
What do you think - is the cover photo innapropriate?
