Kelly McGillis Weds Girlfriend Melanie Leis

"Top Gun" actress Kelly McGillis married girlfriend Melanie Leis, a sales executive, in a civil union on Wednesday in Collingswood, NJ, the New York Times reports.

McGillis and Leis, 42, met in 2000 in Key West, Fla. where Leis was working as a bartender at a restaurant owned by McGills and her second husband Fred Tillman.

McGillis has been divorced twice and has two daughters with Tillman: Kelsey, 20, and Sonora, 17. Leis is a regional sales executive in Philadelphia with Independence Communications.

Last year, Ms. McGillis announced she was a lesbian in an interview with SheWired.com.
