Jennifer Lopez Inks $12 Million "American Idol" Deal

Jennifer Lopez has reportedly inked a $12 million deal to sit at the judge's table on "American Idol" next season.
Lopez initially asked for $15 million plus a movie deal, according to Deadline Hollywood.
"[J Lo] was angling for an overall deal at Fox, including a put picture, to keep the movie career going. But Fox said no."
Eventually, she agreed a $12 million deal with no extra perks.
J Lo will be joining the judging Randy Jackson and newcomer Steven Tyler at the judging panel when American Idol premieres its 10th season in January. An official announcement from Fox is expected in early October, before auditions begin for the new season.
