Paris Hilton May Owe $160 K
As if Paris Hilton wasn't having a bad enough summer already...
The socialite who was busted in Las Vegas last week for alleged cocaine possession, was just slapped with a lawsuit by the producers of her 2006 movie 'Pledge This!' who claims Paris owes them a million dollar for failing to fulfill her promotional duties as the star of the movie.
Worldwide Entertainment Group, the people behind 2006's box-office bomb 'National Lampoon's Pledge This', is suing Hilton for breach of contract claiming she refused to do interviews with British and Russian media, which affected the film's box-office performance.
The good news for Paris?
WEG was asking for $1 million in damages, but Florida U.S. District Judge Federico Moreno ruled that Hilton only cost the movie about $160,000 by missing out on the promotions.
Hilton and her boyfriend Cy Waits were spotted in Hawaii this past weekend. The legally troubled couple seemed happier than ever as they made a splash in the ocean and posed for photographers.
