Bethenny Frankel Quits 'Housewives'
Bethenny Frankel decided to quit "The Real Housewives Of New York" after three seasons with the show.
"Last season was scary and painful. It took all of the joy out of it," the 39-year-old reality star told Us Weekly magazine.
"[I don't] see any reason to go back," she says. "My guy's saying not to be part of this cast."
Her new reality show, Bethenny Getting Married, debuted this summer on Bravo. The premiere attracted more than 2 million viewers - the highest rated debut for a new Bravo show.
Bethenny and husband Jason Hoppy recently welcomed daughter Bryn in May.
Bethenny is contractually bound to make a few appearances on the next season's Real Housewives and the network is allegedly trying to woo her back. Filming for the fourth season begins Sept. 20.
