Julianne Moore Bulgari Ad Banned In Venice

An ad for luxury accessories brand Bulgari featuring actress Julianne Moore has been banned in Venice, Italy after it was deemed "inappropriate" and "too racy".

In the ad Moore poses nude alongside two cute little cubs and a gorgeous handbags protecting her modesty.

However, Venice's newly-elected mayor Giorgio Orsoni called the picture - which was to be displayed in the city's famous St Mark's Square - too risqué.

He says, "An advertisement showing a nude woman on a divan is not appropriate for St Mark's Square."

"I take account of the fact that Venice is part of the real word ... but we cannot accept these Hollywood-style images," President of the Venice Foundation added.

The billboard will now be replaced by a less racy image of the actress fully dressed and modeling Bulgari jewelry, the DailyMail reported.
