Oprah Network Sued by Catherine Dunn Because of 'Hostile Environment'
Oprah Winfrey's OWN network is being sued by Catherine Dunn, a former employee, who claims she was subjected to a "hostile work environment ... because she suffers from Multiple Sclerosis."
Catherine Dunn had been working for OWN since 2008. In her lawsuit, she claims she was forced to take a leave of absence when her "hostile work environment" exacerbated her MS symptoms. While on leave, Dunn claims, she was replaced by "a non-disabled and younger employee."
Dunn is suing for wrongful termination, among other things. She is seeking unspecified damages.
